Flynn challenges Burnham over Scottish independence referendum
SNP minister Stephen Flynn has urged the prime minister to allow a new Scottish independence referendum, declaring that supporters are winning the argument. Speaking at the SNP conference in Aberdeen, Flynn addressed recent comments from Prime Minister Andy Burnham regarding constitutional change and public opinion. Flynn emphasized that while there are no shortcuts to independence, sustained public persuasion is steadily shifting opinion in favor of the movement.
