European Diplomats Attacked by Israeli Settlers in West Bank
A delegation of European diplomats visiting the West Bank was attacked by masked Israeli settlers near the village of Taybeh. The envoys, representing countries including Belgium and France, were assessing the situation regarding ongoing violence against Palestinian olive harvesters. While the Israeli military and foreign ministry condemned the violence, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office cast doubt on the accounts, suggesting the incident was part of a coordinated smear campaign against Israel.
