Carrie Star Samantha Sloyan on Playing Margaret White in Mike Flanagan Series
Samantha Sloyan stars as Margaret White in Mike Flanagan's upcoming television adaptation of Stephen King's classic horror novel 'Carrie'. Flanagan and Sloyan discussed modernizing the iconic tale and reimagining the deeply religious mother character. Sloyan, a frequent collaborator with Flanagan, brings a human element to the zealous antagonist. The new series aims to rebuild the classic story from the ground up, focusing heavily on contemporary themes of school bullying.
