Older Pixel Watches Lose Free Cellular Access to Safety Features

Google has announced that LTE versions of the Pixel Watch 2 and 3 will lose free access to the Safety Signal feature. Previously, this allowed critical safety tools to function over cellular networks without an active carrier plan. Starting after December 12th, users will need to maintain a paid mobile plan to keep these safety capabilities active on LTE. Affected users are being notified directly by Google through emails and device alerts.
