Cannes Winner Quijote Films Launches Scripted Series Division
Chilean production company Quijote Films, renowned for its Cannes-winning arthouse features, is expanding into television by launching an in-house scripted series division. Operating from Chile and Los Angeles, the studio has already dedicated $250,000 toward development ahead of the Mipcom market. Led by CEO Giancarlo Nasi and strategy head Sergio Karmy, the company aims to leverage its success in international co-productions to build a robust pipeline of original television content. The initiative is further supported by Chile's attractive cash rebate incentives for international film and TV productions.
