Three Arrested in Israel Over Alleged Vote-Buying Scheme for Ra'am
Israeli law enforcement has detained three individuals suspected of operating an illegal vote-buying scheme intended to benefit the Ra'am political party. Police raids on the suspects' properties uncovered envelopes containing tens of thousands of shekels designated for distribution in exchange for ballots. In response, the Ra'am party firmly denied any connection to the illicit activities, filing a formal complaint with the Central Elections Committee. The party condemned the police action as unjustified and alleged that the operation intentionally targeted and disrupted their voting slips.
