Boos and bananas on day of defiance at Man City
Manchester City fans expressed their defiance by booing the Premier League anthem ahead of their match against Ipswich Town. The protest comes in the wake of the club being found guilty of breaching financial rules. Despite the tension off the pitch, City secured a 3-2 victory to extend their lead at the top of the table. Fans also waved inflatable bananas as part of a nostalgic throwback craze.
