Paramount Pictures to Revive Bay Theatre in Pacific Palisades
Paramount Pictures has announced plans to take over the Bay Theatre in Pacific Palisades, a venue previously operated by Netflix and Cinepolis. The theater, located within the Palisades Village shopping complex, has remained shuttered since sustaining damage during the wildfires that impacted the area in early 2025. In collaboration with The Lot, which will manage daily operations, Paramount intends to transform the space into a premier destination for first-run films, classic cinema, and immersive events. This initiative is part of a broader effort to restore a vital community landmark and support the neighborhood's ongoing recovery.
