Sunderland's Premier League struggles spark internal concerns
Sunderland is facing a difficult start to their current Premier League campaign, marked by a string of losses that has left them near the bottom of the table. Defender Nordi Mukiele has openly questioned the team's attitude, suggesting that a sense of arrogance may have crept into the squad following their successful performance last season. Beyond internal morale, the team is grappling with defensive vulnerabilities and the physical demands of balancing domestic league play with European competition. Head coach Regis le Bris has expressed frustration with the team's recent displays, emphasizing that their current level of play is unacceptable as they attempt to navigate a challenging schedule.
