Mubi Announces Theatrical Release for Award-Winning Nuisance Bear
The acclaimed documentary 'Nuisance Bear,' which secured the Sundance Grand Jury Prize, is heading to theaters courtesy of Mubi. The film explores the complex relationship between polar bears and human environments, highlighting how climate change forces these animals into closer contact with tourist areas and wildlife management teams. Scheduled for a November 6 premiere in Los Angeles, the documentary will expand to New York, Canada, and the United Kingdom on December 4. Directed by Jack Weisman and Gabriela Osio Vanden, the project examines the blurred lines between nature and human territory, questioning the label of 'nuisance' applied to these predators.
