IDF Chief Orders Leave Freeze and Boosts Forces Ahead of Elections

In response to growing regional tensions and upcoming national elections, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir has convened top military commanders for a comprehensive security assessment. Consequently, the military has implemented a temporary leave freeze for all units starting later this week, alongside a reinforcement of senior presence in command centers. Furthermore, additional units, including forces from the Paratroopers Brigade, have been deployed to bolster operations in the Central Command region between Samaria and Benjamin. These measures are designed to ensure heightened operational readiness and safeguard public security throughout the electoral period.
