Jessica Edwards Appointed Executive Director of Woodstock Film Festival
The Woodstock Film Festival has officially named Jessica Edwards as its new executive director. She succeeds the festival's co-founder, Meira Blaustein, who led the organization for over 25 years and was recently honored with an Honorary Maverick Award for her long-standing contributions to independent cinema. Edwards, a local resident with a background in film distribution and publicity, expressed her enthusiasm for the role, describing it as a dream opportunity. She plans to honor the festival's independent roots while fostering new connections between global filmmakers and the Hudson Valley community.
