Prime Video Unveils Marília Mendonça Docuseries
Prime Video has premiered 'Marília Mendonça – Sentimento Louco' at the Rio Film Festival, marking the first project from a historic licensing deal with the late Brazilian singer's family. Directed by Susanna Lira, the docuseries offers unprecedented access to Mendonça's personal archives, including diaries, photographs, and videos. The production is part of Brazil's largest investment in preserving a national artist's legacy. It honors the celebrated sertanejo singer, who tragically died in a 2021 plane crash, by showcasing her authentic life, musical impact, and cultural resonance.
