Lelel Rebbe Issues Historic Election Directive to Hasidim
In an unprecedented move, the Rebbe of Lelov has broken with family and ancestral traditions regarding national elections. Although he personally refrains from voting in Knesset elections, he instructed his close aide to publicly mandate that voting Hasidim choose exclusively for the Agudat Israel party. The proclamation was read aloud in the main study hall just before 'Kavbalat Shabbat', emphasizing the critical nature of the current hour and warning against supporting any other political factions.
