In late May 2016, a series of fires broke out across the Jerusalem hills, with the most severe blaze threatening the Ramot neighborhood. Broadcast originally by Channel 2 and anchored by Ofer Hadad, the news coverage detailed rapid evacuations and emergency response efforts. Despite the immediate danger and proximity to residential areas, quick intervention by firefighting teams prevented major structural damage and resulted in zero casualties.
