MK2 Films Acquires Short Films by Prominent Directors
Paris-based sales company MK2 Films has expanded its catalog by acquiring short films from renowned international directors Brady Corbet, Kleber Mendonça Filho, and Céline Sciamma. The additions were announced during the Lumière Film Festival in Lyon, showcasing the company's dedication to distributing lesser-seen works by established auteurs. The newly acquired projects include Sciamma's introspective 'Tutti Frutti', Mendonça Filho's dialogue-driven 'South of Tehran' featuring Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi, and Corbet's early short 'Protect You + Me'. These films bridge connections to the directors' major feature-length achievements while offering fresh perspectives for festival programming and theatrical showcases.
