Moshe Feiglin: I Will Never Compromise on Shabbat or Jewish Identity
Israeli politician Moshe Feiglin has issued a strong clarification following the circulation of a heavily edited interview clip that appeared to misrepresent his views. He emphasized that his remarks were taken out of context to falsely suggest he supports public transportation on Shabbat. Feiglin firmly rejected any notion that he would endorse legislation promoting desecration of the holy day. He argued that such proposals are designed merely for provocation rather than safeguarding the nation's spiritual heritage.
