Lisowski starts NI Open defence with win, Selby crashes out
Defending champion Jack Lisowski has successfully begun his Northern Ireland Open campaign with a 4-1 victory over Huang Jiahao in Belfast. Lisowski raced to an early lead, and despite his opponent taking one frame, he secured the win on the final black. Meanwhile, four-time world champion Mark Selby suffered a shock first-round exit after losing 4-2 to Louis Heathcote. Selby initially led 2-0 before losing four consecutive frames, ending his hopes of a historic Home Nations clean sweep.
