VIFF Winner Marie Clements Unpacks Musical Doc ‘Reclaim My Skin’
Métis and Dene filmmaker Marie Clements is bringing her new three-part musical documentary series, “Reclaim My Skin,” to the Vancouver International Film Festival. The screening follows her recent victory at the festival, where her feature “How We Stand” won the Arbutus Award recognizing British Columbia filmmaking. The series explores how colonization has stripped Indigenous women and Two-Spirit people of their power.
