Greens can move Labour in the right direction, says Zack Polanski
Green Party leader Zack Polanski addressed his autumn conference, urging voters to support the Greens to exert pressure on the Labour government. He argued that sustained Green advocacy has already influenced Labour's stance on climate and international issues, and he called for further action on housing, specifically proposing a three-year rent cap. Polanski also addressed internal party tensions regarding a controversial motion on Zionism. While emphasizing his commitment to human rights for both Israelis and Palestinians, he sought amendments to the motion to ensure it remains inclusive and avoids defining the party's position in a way that could alienate Jewish members.
