Zelensky condemns Russian strike on grain ship in Black Sea
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has strongly condemned a Russian drone strike against a Turkish-owned cargo ship carrying corn in the Black Sea. The attack resulted in fatalities, with the vessel's captain and another crew member killed, while eleven others were successfully rescued by Romanian authorities. The incident occurred in neutral waters near Romania's exclusive economic zone, further escalating tensions in the region. Russia's defense ministry stated it had targeted cargo vessels in response to Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil infrastructure.
