Lightdox has secured worldwide sales rights for 'The Big Boom!', a new documentary directed by Swiss filmmaker Gabriel Tejedor. The film is set to premiere globally within the Frontlight section at IDFA. Focusing on the Bulgarian municipality of Kazanlak, known traditionally for its rose production, the movie investigates a massive munitions manufacturing plant that sustains the local economy. It highlights the moral complexities faced by everyday workers who produce ammunition for Ukraine's war zones while managing historical and cultural connections to Russia.
