Raül Refree Composes Orchestral Score for Netflix Film La Bola Negra
The upcoming Netflix feature "La Bola Negra," directed by the filmmakers known as Los Javis, is set to receive a dedicated soundtrack release via Lakeshore Records. Inspired by the legacy of Federico García Lorca, the movie spans multiple decades and historical eras in Spain, weaving together dramatic narratives across generations. Composer Raül Refree crafted an avant-garde orchestral score designed to reflect the individual personalities and psychological states of the main characters rather than merely echoing their respective time periods. Exclusive preview tracks reveal how the instrumentation shifts between distinct orchestral elements to mirror narrative tension, historical trauma, and intimate emotional discoveries.
