Egyptian border incident: Unarmed infiltrator claims intent to kill
Israeli security forces detained an unarmed 30-year-old Egyptian citizen who crossed the border fence from Egypt into Israeli territory near the Nitzana sector overnight. During his interrogation by the Shin Bet, the suspect stated that his intention was to kill Jews. Authorities found no weapons on the individual, only a bottle of water. Security agencies are currently investigating whether he acted independently, who might have dispatched him, and whether he has any ties to ISIS elements in the Sinai Peninsula.
