Edinburgh Film Festival Sets Dates for 80th Milestone Edition
Organizers have officially scheduled the 80th iteration of the historic Scottish cinematic showcase, slated to take place from August 12 to August 18, 2027. Backed by Screen Scotland, this landmark gathering aims to celebrate decades of cinematic tradition while carrying forward the momentum generated by its recent leadership. Following a successful revamp in 2024 directed by Paul Ridd and Emma Boa, the festival is preparing for a major anniversary celebration that will run alongside other iconic Edinburgh cultural festivals.
