Duncan Ferguson Takes Charge as Glentoran Manager
Former Everton and Rangers forward Duncan Ferguson has been appointed as the new manager of Northern Irish club Glentoran on a multi-year deal. The high-profile appointment follows an extensive recruitment process by the club's owner, Ali Pour, aimed at revitalizing the team's pursuit of major silverware. Ferguson brings considerable top-tier experience to Belfast, having previously worked in coaching roles at Everton alongside prominent managers and managed Forest Green Rovers and Inverness Caledonian Thistle. He is joined by assistant manager Gary Bollan as Glentoran looks to overcome a prolonged league title drought.
