Druze Protests Erupt on Highway 6 Following Stabbing Incident
A spontaneous demonstration by Druze residents from Daliyat al-Karmel and Isfiya blocked parts of Highway 6 near the Eliakim Interchange, causing severe traffic disruptions. The protest was triggered by the stabbing of a young Druze man outside a Tel Aviv nightclub. The father of the victim reported that his son identified their background during the altercation before being attacked. Authorities eventually cleared the highway, but the incident highlights underlying tensions and community outrage.
