Deezer to Introduce Filter for AI-Generated Music
Deezer is responding to user feedback by developing a new feature that allows listeners to exclude AI-generated content from their streaming experience. By the end of the year, users will be able to toggle this setting to remove AI tracks, albums, and artists from their search results and recommendations. This initiative follows a significant surge in AI-produced uploads on the platform, which now account for over half of daily submissions. CEO Alexis Lanternier emphasized that the company aims to prioritize human creativity, aligning with findings that nearly half of their user base prefers to avoid synthetic music.
