Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi on Faith, October 7, and Reforms
Israeli Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi recently appeared on Channel 2000 for an interview with Itamar Tzur, touching upon faith, leadership, and education during current national challenges. He shared childhood memories from Moshav Zimrat and reflected on balancing public service as a father of eight with family life. Karhi recounted the dramatic events of October 7 in his home moshav, describing his departure under fire to a government meeting and witnessing difficult sights along the way. He also discussed legal battles concerning emergency radio broadcasts for the northern Haredi public, communications market reforms, and viewing war and redemption through a lens of faith.
