Three Arrested in Negev with Ra'am Envelopes and Cash
Israeli police have detained three residents of the Negev region on suspicion of involvement in election bribery. Law enforcement officers seized envelopes containing tens of thousands of shekels in cash during searches of the suspects' homes. In response, the Ra'am party firmly denied any wrongdoing and lodged an official complaint with the Central Election Committee. The party claims it has been unfairly targeted in an effort to disrupt its political campaign.
