Tom Cruise Defends Digger After Box Office Flop
Tom Cruise's latest film, 'Digger,' directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, has faced a significant box office disappointment, earning only $8 million domestically against a massive $160 million budget. Despite the poor opening, Cruise remains optimistic about the film's long-term legacy. In a recent interview, Cruise emphasized that he prioritizes creating lasting cinema over immediate opening weekend success. He compared the film's reception to classics like 'Blade Runner,' hoping 'Digger' will eventually be recognized for its artistic merit despite its current financial struggles.
