Apple HomeView Launches Without Native Support for Video Streaming Apps
Apple's newly revealed HomeView platform enters the market with a surprising limitation, completely lacking built-in compatibility for standard video applications. Even Apple's proprietary services, such as Apple TV, fail to run directly on the hardware without external workarounds. Consumers wishing to access media on the device must rely on AirPlay casting from handheld devices like an iPhone. This friction highlights an unexpected software gap in a product heavily marketed around media consumption.
