Stephen Chow’s ‘Kung Fu Soccer’ Heads to U.S. and U.K. Cinemas
Stephen Chow’s latest action-comedy, 'Kung Fu Soccer,' is set for a wide release across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland on October 23. Following a highly successful run in Asia and Oceania, where it became a summer box office sensation, the film will be available in both its original language and a newly produced English-dubbed version featuring voices from Jimmy O. Yang and MC Jin. The narrative follows the Emei Women’s Football Team as they strive to win the Supreme Invincible Cup by blending traditional martial arts with athletic prowess. This project marks a return for Chow to the unique sports-action genre he popularized decades ago, aiming to captivate international audiences with his signature blend of humor and heart.
