The episode begins with a double dental dilemma as both Shlomke and the family dog refuse their food due to aching teeth. Tamar asks Yoram to take the suffering pet to the vet, but he is far too busy. Once the house empties out, the resourceful monkey Kofiko seizes the chance to act. Instead of visiting a veterinarian, Kofiko leads the dog straight to Shlomke's human dentist office, cheerfully seating the surprised animal in the patient's chair for a dental checkup.
