Lionel Messi prepares for final Argentina match and future club ownership
Lionel Messi is set to play his final match for Argentina in a friendly against Benin, marking the end of an incredible international career that spans 208 appearances. Having announced his retirement from the national team, the 39-year-old icon is now shifting his focus entirely toward his club career with Inter Miami and his ambitious ventures as a football club owner. Messi has already laid significant groundwork for his post-playing career in club ownership. He recently acquired Spanish fifth-tier side UE Cornella and second-division club CD Eldense, alongside founding Deportivo LSM in Uruguay with Luis Suarez. Through these ventures, Messi aims to shape the future of football from an administrative perspective rather than coaching.
