I don’t miss the camera on the Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses
Key Takeaways
- Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses remove the built-in camera.
- The design makes them look and feel like normal glasses.
- Privacy concerns and social awkwardness are significantly reduced.
- Users can still enjoy audio streaming and AI assistant features.
The new audio-only version of the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses removes the built-in camera entirely. Reviewers note that this change makes the eyewear far less intrusive in public spaces, blending in seamlessly like normal glasses.
While losing the camera reduces some of the device's utility, it also eliminates privacy concerns and social friction associated with wearing recording devices, offering a more discreet audio and AI experience.
