Jaguar’s first EV looks just like its divisive concept car

Jaguar has officially revealed the Type 01, representing its first major electric vehicle and a bold new direction for the brand. The new four-door grand tourer follows closely in the footsteps of the polarizing Type 00 concept car, maintaining its futuristic and divisive exterior design.

According to the manufacturer, the Type 01 is engineered to be the most powerful road car in Jaguar's history. Although the design chief behind the initial concept reportedly departed earlier this year, the transition from concept to production has preserved the signature look.
