Computer Scientist Tracks Satellites Using Automated Observatory
Allen Schnibben, a computer scientist at Sandia National Laboratories, has leveraged his lifelong passion for space to develop an automated satellite tracking system. By utilizing off-the-shelf technology, he has created a cost-effective solution for monitoring orbital objects. The SOHBRIT facility, a 12-foot observatory, serves as the hub for this project.
