Justice Department Says North Koreans Infiltrated US Companies
The U.S. Department of Justice has issued warnings regarding state-backed North Korean hackers who are increasingly utilizing American facilitators. These facilitators help them infiltrate U.S. companies and bypass security detection mechanisms. Federal authorities have indicted suspects and raided over 40 laptop farms in Texas. These operations allowed foreign actors to use stolen U.S. identities to secure remote employment and steal sensitive data.
