Open-source tool lets you delete 12GB of Apple Intelligence data
A new open-source command-line tool named RemoveMacAI allows macOS users to reclaim around 12GB of storage by completely deleting Apple Intelligence data files from their systems. While previous macOS versions offered a simple toggle to disable these AI features, newer updates keep the large models stored on disk even when deactivated. This utility gives users granular control back over their local hardware storage.
