Oil facilities hit in deadly overnight attack on St Petersburg
At least one person has been killed and several others injured in a series of overnight drone strikes targeting St Petersburg, Russia. The attacks successfully hit two major oil facilities, a logistics centre belonging to e-commerce firm Ozon, and a regional data centre used by social network VKontakte. The strikes come amid an escalating campaign of mutual energy infrastructure attacks between Russia and Ukraine as the conflict enters its fifth year. Ukrainian strikes on Russian economic targets seek to limit Moscow's war revenue, despite recent diplomatic friction with Washington over US-Russia diesel supply agreements.
