Skeet Ulrich Won't Return to 'Scream' Without Melissa Barrera
Skeet Ulrich has confirmed he will not return to the 'Scream' franchise following the firing of his co-star, Melissa Barrera. Ulrich stated that his intended three-film character arc for Billy Loomis cannot be completed without Barrera's character, Sam Carpenter. Barrera was removed from the franchise by Spyglass in 2023 due to her social media posts regarding the conflict in Gaza. Her departure also led to the exit of Jenna Ortega, significantly altering the trajectory of the series.
