Maresca Defends Manchester City's Anfield Celebrations
Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has strongly defended his team's jubilant celebrations following their 3-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield. The match marked City's first fixture since an independent commission found the club guilty of breaching Premier League financial rules. Speaking ahead of a Champions League clash with Paris St-Germain, Maresca dismissed external criticism and stated that the squad was simply thrilled to secure three points at a notoriously difficult venue. Captain Ruben Dias also echoed the manager's sentiments, expressing calmness and trust in the club amidst the ongoing appeal process.
