Where is the Indian teen who biked 700 miles with her injured dad?
In 2020, 15-year-old Jyoti Kumari cycled 700 miles across India during the COVID-19 lockdown, carrying her injured father on the back of a $20 bicycle. Her incredible feat captured international headlines and inspired widespread admiration. Following her journey, politicians and officials made numerous promises of financial assistance, cycling career training, and even a movie deal. However, most of these grand pledges were ultimately unfulfilled once the global spotlight faded.
