The Telo MT1 is a big truck trapped in a tiny truck’s body
The Telo MT1 is a new, remarkably compact electric truck developed by Telo Trucks, featuring a cab-over design reminiscent of Japanese kei vehicles. Despite being roughly the size of a Mini Cooper, it boasts full-sized utility, including a 96-inch bed and an 8,000-pound towing capacity. During test drives in California, the prototype demonstrated impressive EV acceleration, going from zero to sixty in an estimated four seconds. Founders Jason Marks and Forrest North aim to offer a safer, more practical alternative to massive modern pickup trucks.
