Marvel's 'VisionQuest' Struggles to Connect Emotionally: Review
Marvel's new eight-episode series 'VisionQuest' follows the android Vision, played by Paul Bettany, as he navigates complicated relationships and heavy backstory. The show serves as a sequel to 'WandaVision' and features clever visual concepts alongside humanized portrayals. Despite creative imagery and Paul Bettany's charming performance, the series becomes weighed down by dense exposition. Like its synthetic protagonist, the show ultimately struggles to form genuine emotional connections with its audience.
