Javier Giner Unpacks New Film 'This Solitude' After Festival Premiere
Basque director Javier Giner has premiered his latest film, 'This Solitude' ('Esta Soledad'), at the San Sebastián Film Festival. Following the success of his acclaimed Disney+ series 'I, Addict,' Giner's new feature explores the quiet struggles of everyday life and modern isolation. The film stars Oriol Pla and Marina Salas, following two former partners navigating profound loneliness and personal upheaval in Bilbao. Giner describes the project as a shift from the loud trauma of his previous work to a subtle meditation on those who function while falling apart inside.
