Google Releases Local-First AI Note-Taker AI Edge Foresight
Google has launched a new Mac application called AI Edge Foresight, designed to compete with popular AI meeting note-takers like Granola. The app leverages on-device AI models to operate completely offline, focusing on privacy and local processing. Utilizing models like EmbeddingGemma 2 and Gemma 4, the software transcribes conversations, generates meeting notes, and allows users to query a personalized knowledge base built from documents and transcripts.
