Glauber Rocha’s 1970 Anti-Fascist Film Gets 6K Restoration in Lyon

Glauber Rocha's long-forgotten 1970 anti-fascist film, 'Cabezas Cortadas', is currently undergoing a meticulous 6K restoration. The project is set to be presented at the International Classic Film Market (MIFC) during the Lumière Film Festival in Lyon. The restoration is a collaborative effort involving Video Mercury Films, streaming service FlixOlé, and the ECAM Madrid Film School. It will be featured in the MIFC's Re>Birth Programme, which highlights significant ongoing and upcoming film preservation projects.
