Reform UK Faces Scrutiny Over Candidate Vetting Procedures
Reform UK is under pressure following an undercover ITV News investigation that exposed potential flaws in its candidate vetting process. The report suggests that some party members encouraged the deletion of controversial social media posts to facilitate candidacy. The party maintains that it has prioritized and improved its vetting procedures, though it acknowledges that some individuals who do not align with its values occasionally bypass these checks. Reform UK has criticized the investigation's methods as deceptive.
